Upward Bound

Upward Bound provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. The program provides opportunities for participants to succeed in their precollege performance and ultimately in their higher education pursuits.  Upward Bound serves: high school students from low-income families; and high school students from families in which neither parent holds a bachelor's degree. The goal of Upward Bound is to increase the rate at which participants complete secondary education and enroll in and graduate from institutions of postsecondary education....Click Here for more

Allied Jobs

The goal of the Allied Jobs Progam is to assist partipants in gaining full-time employment. Once a participant enters the program, the Allied Jobs Program works extensively to ensure each person has been given the tools needed to gain and retain employment. But just landing a job is the first step. . .the participant is also supported by the Allied Jobs Program as well as other agencies to help "keep" the job.     Click here for more

E.D.U.C.A.T.E. M.E. Summer Academy

The  E.D.U.C.A.T.E. M.E.  Summer Academy is a residential camp for students entering the 9th and 10th  grade to introduce them to Health Care Careers.    This Academy will give 30 students the opportunity for an “inside” look on different Health Care Careers offered at NEO A&M College that include  Medical Laboratory Technician , Physical Therapy Assistant, Nursing, and PE/Athletic Training.  The Academy will explore how humor is used in healthcare.  It also includes a cultural aspect with an American Indian Day during the week learning about traditional American Indian healing methods.  Students will learn with hands on activities in each of the Health Care disciplines and will tour a local hospital.  They will also experience what living on a college campus while living in the dorms, eating in the college campus cafeteria and attending classes in our Health Care laboratories and classrooms.

Tutoring Center

The NEO Tutoring Center offers academic support in many courses, especially those required for graduation. It is a casual drop-in study center supplying resources for and personal assistance with mathematics, sciences and English composition, speech preparation and preparation for exams in various subjects. The Tutoring Center, located on the 2nd Floor of the Learning Resource Center (Library) is open from 8 AM til 8 PM Monday through Thursday and from 8 AM til 4 PM on Friday.  Click here for more information...
